Queen of Time is the first concept album I ever wrote with the first songs composed back in the 1980's.
The lyrics were written during my youth and, although some of those lyrics have been altered along the way, they still reflect a certain naivete that I've chosen to largely retain.
The theme is around the personification of the worldly systems that oppose God and good as a woman, the Queen of Time... ageless and wicked.
The material is narratively linked by the imagery of a river that flows from its source through to its final destination, growing in size and power along the way taking in the war on childhood and the corruption of government before the rising up of a holy people who ultimately bring about the fall of the Queen.
